English Department

English

The English Department’s goal is to build students’ English fluency by encouraging students to communicate confidently in English. We want them to enjoy their language learning experience, be successful in expressing themselves and not allow the fear of making mistakes discourage them from speaking. Students will have the following classes each school day:

 

  • 2 oral communication lessons
  • Phonics/Literacy lesson
  • Reading lesson
  • Library lesson (for higher level classes)
  • Projects lesson (for grade 1 classes)
